Kristin Luna is a magazine veteran with 20 years of industry experience; she has contributed to more than 50 international newspapers and magazines, including Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Washington Post, Newsweek, Southern Living and Garden & Gun, as well as authored a dozen books for major publishers. Her love for traveling and storytelling led Kristin to launch her award-winning travel blog Camels & Chocolate, in 2007. She’s visited all 50 states and more than 130 countries.

Veteran of the U.S. Navy and travel journalist Scott van Velsor served overseas in Sicily for three years; he also lived in Denmark and Holland, where he first met Kristin. Scott has traveled to 46 states and 87 countries while pursuing adventure, story material and experiences. He cannot stop painting things, but that’s another story for another time.
